Love ’em or hate ’em have you ever seen a WordPress site without plugins? After all, what is WordPress without plugins? That’s right, a blogging platform!
After all, Automattic, the organization responsible for WordPress seems to think WordPress is first and foremost a blogging platform. The file wp-config.php includes the text “Happy blogging.” Sure, WordPress is capable of much more than blogging, right? But, what do you need? Plugins!
With more than 30 years of experience creating websites, and with no signs of stopping anytime soon, many would say that makes me an expert. I do not agree. I have lots of experience (and opinions!). That hardly makes me an expert.
